Dr. David T. Evans, DMD, FAAPD
Board-Certified Pediatric Dental Specialist
Dr. David T. Evans loves helping children feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about visiting the dentist. As a pediatric dental specialist and a dad of three — Everly, Evan, and Elizabeth — Dr. Evans understands firsthand how important it is for children to feel safe and cared for. Together with his wife Megan, he enjoys raising their family in Oklahoma and serving the community he calls home.
Dr. Evans earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. While in dental school, he discovered a passion for caring for children and went on to complete two additional years of hospital-based pediatric specialty training at Temple University Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Evans is passionate about teaching, mentoring future dentists, and staying actively involved in professional organizations throughout the state. He served for six years as President of the Oklahoma Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and currently serves as the Immediate Past President. He teaches as a Clinical and Didactic Adjunct at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
Dr. Evans also serves on the Anesthesia Review Committee for the Oklahoma Dental Board and represents the dental community on the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) Medical Advisory Committee. In addition, he lectures nationally and internationally on pediatric dental care.
Dr. Evans believes every child deserves a healthy smile. He volunteers his time providing care to underserved children in Oklahoma City and has participated in several international dental missions.
When he's not in the office, Dr. Evans enjoys sports, being near the water, and most of all spending time with his family. He looks forward to welcoming your family and helping your child develop a lifetime of healthy smiles.
