Pediatric Dental & Sedation Services
Sedation Dentistry
Safe and effective sedation options for children who may be anxious or need extensive dental treatment.
We offer multiple options for Dental Sedation within our practice. Our main goal in choosing a sedation modality is to ensure the highest quality care in a safe and painless manner. If you have any questions or concerns about these options, please allow our staff and doctors to provide clarity and answer any concerns.
Light Sedation
This process utilizes Nitrous Oxide (aka laughing gas, funny air) and is very safe for your child. Effect is over within a few minutes of finishing the procedure.
Moderate Sedation
Performed in our office by our qualified and experienced doctors and staff. This medication is given orally, then maintains responsiveness throughout the procedure while providing amnesic/sleepy dental success.
Deep Sedation
This is performed in office by our qualified and experienced anesthesia providers, alongside our specialty trained doctors and staff. The patient is safely asleep and sedated while receiving dental care.
General Anesthesia
(Sleep Dentistry) This process is performed by well trained general anesthesia team at an outpatient facility, alongside our hospital trained dental providers and dental staff.
Additional Dental Services
Frenectomies (Tongue & Lip Tie)
Minor surgical procedures to release a tongue-tie or lip-tie, improving feeding, speech, and oral function for infants, toddlers, and adolescence.
Sedation Cleanings
Dental cleanings during sedation when needed as part of other specialty dental needs. During this process we remove plaque and tartar, helping prevent cavities and gum disease while keeping your child’s smile healthy.
Cosmetic Fillings (Tooth-Shaded)
Tooth-colored fillings that restore decayed or damaged teeth while maintaining a natural appearance.
Front Teeth Cosmetic Crowns aka Caps
Durable, tooth-colored crowns designed to protect and restore front teeth while keeping a natural look, often used after decay or trauma.
Back Teeth Crowns aka Caps
(Kids Version)
A crown, or “cap,” is like a little hat that goes over a back tooth to keep it strong and healthy. It protects teeth that are cracked, have big cavities, or have special treatment—sometimes they’re silver, sometimes they look just like a real tooth.
Dental Trauma and Accidents
Emergency care for knocked-out, chipped, or broken teeth to preserve your child's dental health and comfort.
Extractions
Gentle removal of teeth that are severely decayed, damaged, or obstructing proper oral development.
Sealants
Thin protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth to prevent cavities and decay.
Space Maintainers
Custom devices that preserve space for permanent teeth when baby teeth are lost prematurely, helping guide proper dental development.
X-Rays
Digital X-rays provide essential diagnostic information with very low-dose radiation, helping detect cavities, growth issues, and other dental concerns early.
